CONSCIENT Advance Water Purifiers is based on Electro Deionization technology and it’s purification process takes place in the electro de-ion module. This module consists of two graphite current collector; against which a porous activated carbon layer is coated. These form are Anode and Cathode. Additionally an anion exchange membrane is placed on the anode, and cation exchange membrane is placed on the cathode. A spacer flow channel is placed between these electrodes. Water flows through this spacer channel parallel to the electrodes. As electricity is applied to this module the anode is positively charged, and consequently attracts negatively charged ions such as Cl- and SO42-, while the cathode is negatively charged and attract positively charged ions such as Ca2+ and Na+. These ions are stored onto the porous carbon electrode. This generates a ‘healthy and pure’ water stream on the outlet of the module with a reduced TDS content compared to the inlet and as per the desired selected value. Post purification the applied potential is reversed. This causes any stored ions to be released from the electrodes onto the spacer, where they are flushed from the module through waste stream, regenerating the electrodes.
CONSCIENT Advance Water purifiers works in multiple applications where a high quality of water with a reduced TDS is required. CONSCIENT advance water purifiers are in 3 models currently 10/50/100 LPH which can be installed as Point of Use machine across various sectors like government and corporate offices, restaurants, hotels, farmhouses, public spaces etc.
Yes, up to 50oC, 130oF. The temperature of the water is monitored and displayed to user in real time.
Typically, CONSCIENT Advance Water purifiers can operate on a range of waters. However, harmful toxic chemicals might be present in some cases causing risk of poisoning. If high concentration of chemicals are present in water, please inform the technical support team.
Filtration can vary significantly and is dependent on the water that is to be treated. Technical support can assist in determining what is required for the specific application. For all the system, 5 micron nominal filter is recommended and installed as a safety feature for most applications.
Demineralized water is exactly what it sounds like – it's water that has had all of the minerals removed. Reverse osmosis (RO) is a widely utilized water purification technique. Pressurized water is forced through a semi-permeable membrane that removes pathogens, impurities, and unfortunately, mineral ions. RO water is thus pure yet demineralized water that is deficient in essential minerals like sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium and other important dissolved solids. Conventionally, the use of RO water was restricted to laboratories and industries, however, with a rise in water pollution, the implementation of RO water purification has extended even to the common man who resorts to RO water filters to purify water for his daily use. Given widespread use of demineralized or RO water, it is crucial to be aware of the fact that while RO does provide pure water, it also leaches out necessary minerals that are essential to human health. Consumption of water stripped of the natural minerals has adverse effects on our well-being.
As per latest WHO guidelines and study, they have published report of health risk from drinking demineralized water. As per their finding, minimum minerals are required to be retained in water to ensure smooth and healthy functioning of human body. The report can be found on WHO website.

Drinking water with a low mineral content i.e. water with low TDS (Total Dissolved Salts) has a negative effect on our body’s homeostasis. Additionally, such a low mineral intake when coupled with mineral loss through urinary excretion results in a further mineral imbalance that has shown to have a detrimental effect on hormone secretion, kidney functions, and bone mineral density. An increase in the elimination of essential minerals such as sodium, calcium, chloride, potassium create an electrolyte imbalance. Under such conditions, consuming RO demineralized water further deprives the body of necessary nutrition that ultimately causes debilitating symptoms such as headache, tiredness, and weakness, muscular cramps, and impaired heart rate along with a negative impact on hormone secretion, kidney functions, and bone mineral density.
